{Going to the Punkin Patch}

Ava Kate has been talking about going to a pumpkin patch (because she's never been to one in her whole life), so we packed up and went to Georgia for a weekend mountain getaway!  Fun was had by all and here are a few pictures.

Forget all  those 'baby' milestones, Seeber's learning how to drive.

Ava Kate LOVED the animals!

I'm trying really hard Ava Kate is trying really hard to convince her daddy to let her have some chickens.  I think we might have him...maybe.

{93 years young}

My Memaw turned 93 on August 27!  Memaw still lives by herself,drives,and can pretty much run circles around all of us.  She's sweet, sassy and stubborn as a goat, and oh my, do we love her!  And she loves us too!  She beams when she talks about her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and,wait for it, her great great grandbaby!  I love to see her with Ava Kate.  The other day we went to visit her and she was dancing and cuttin' the fool to get Ava Kate to smile and laugh.  I don't think I can put into words how happy I am for Memaw to get to love and hold her great great grandchild.   Memaw is the most wonderful woman I know, and I strive everyday to be like her.  Happy birthday,Memaw!  We love you to the moon and back!

{we got ourselves...}

A roller!  Ava Kate finally learned how to roll over!  I thought this day would never come...and now maybe I'm regretting it?  Kidding!  Gone are the days of her staying put. :)

{as of late}

Yowzer. I'm usually telling a big ole fat lie when I say we've been busy. This ain't no lie. The Weavers have hit the ground running since June and haven't slowed down yet! Since it's now August, I'll let the wavy dream lines take us back to June...
On June 24th, Uncle Ralphie graduated from Ranger School! We are SO PROUD of him! We got to see demonstrations of explosions, rapelling, fighting, jumping out of choppers and tons of other neat stuff. The Army Rangers are a pretty awesome group of fellas!

So proud of Uncle Ralphie!
He had to do what?

Next up in July, we got some pretty exciting news - AUNT SCOOTIE AND UNCLE RALPHIE ARE GETTIN' HITCHED! They took a little romantic trip to Charleston and came back engaged. It was about darn time.
Ava Kate also got baptised on July 3rd. Chad and I were worried about this service. A 4 month old in church in a white dress. What could go wrong? Luckily nothing. Hallelujah. She grinned at Pastor Suhr the whole time!The Holy Spirit must have suited her well because she was praising Jesus the rest of the service

This only leaves 20 days to plan a wedding...WHAT?! TWENTY DAYS TO PLAN A WEDDING?! Piece. Of. Cake. Whoever said you need a lot of time to plan a wedding is full of malarkey. All you need is a church, a preacher, a pianist, a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, food, a photographer, flowers...When the Bushs' and the Williams' join forces, watch out and don't get in their way. They got a wedding to plan. Aunt Scootie and Uncle Ralphie were married on July 23. Also known as the hottest day known to mankind. It was beautiful!
After the wedding, we had to wait and see when Uncle Ralphie got his orders to ship out to Italy.  No, Italy is not on the other side of Little Mountain.  It's on the other side of the world!  The big moving day is August 18th.  We're going to miss them to death, but we're so happy for the new chapter in their life...and the opportunity to visit Italy!
